About Us
Who are we?
We are a social events club aimed at professionals, graduates and like-minded people in the Durham and Teesside areas. We are affiliated to the national association of Inter-Varsity clubs and we have around 100 hundred members making us one of the largest clubs of its kind in the area. Each month we publish a lively and varied events programme typically featuring events such as meals out, pub crawls, cinema and theatre trips, house parties, karaoke, barbecues, concerts, walks and sports such as five-a-side and badminton. In fact we have everything you need to kick start your social life! The club is run entirely on a voluntary basis, by members for members, which is why we are probably the best investment that you will ever make into making the most of your spare time.Our current membership fee is just £26.00 for a whole year of fun!
Who can join?
While most of our members are managerial or professional, all lively and sociable people are eligible to join. In fact we have members from all types of backgrounds and our age range is from twenty "something" upwards, with the majority of our members in their 30's.The club is open to both single people and couples.
How can I join?
If you like what you have read so far the next step is to sign up for Prospective membership. This is a low risk way to find out if the club is for you, before committing yourself to a full years membership. Prospective membership lasts for 3 months and costs just £6.50. You will receive our Events Programme for the next 3 months enabling you to go to as many events as you wish. When the 3 months is up, you will receive an application form to apply for full membership. It's as easy as that!
