National Association of IVC Clubs IVC is a national network of social events clubs aimed at professionals, graduates and like-minded people. We have nearly 50 clubs and around 5000 members across the UK. IVC is run entirely on a voluntary basis, by members for members. We don't make a profit. Butterwick Hospice Butterwick Hospice aims to improve the quality of life for those who have a life limiting illness and help them relate positively to every challenge they may encounter during their illness and to see death as part of life's journey. Today Butterwick Hospice cares for up to 200 patients and their loved ones every day. All of their services are provided completely free of charge. Great North Air Ambulance Providing emergency medical cover for the North of England, North Yorkshire and Cumbria an area of approximately 5500 square miles with a population of 3.5 million people. Operating a fleet of helicopters based across the north east and cumbria. It has been proven time and time again that helicopters are vital for the transportation of time-critical injured or ill patients to specialising hospitals, and it is their aim to provide the people of the north with the best quality care available to them. Darlington Dales & Hills - Ramblers Group The Tees Valley region is one of the best in Britain with numerous areas of outstanding natural beauty, national parks and lovely rural areas such as The Yorkshire Dales, The North York Moors and The Cleveland Hills. Darlington Dales & Hills is a Ramblers' group based in the Tees Valley area with grades of walks covering most ability levels, from easy five mile walks lasting around two hours to moderate four or five hour hikes. |
